The Table I'M BIASED!

Come, I'll introduce you.

Meet · Go · Try · Use

This is a list of the people and services I would introduce you to personally — and will, if you ask. Places, tools and objects too. Everything on it I have used, stayed in, or known first-hand.

"Have you ever been introduced by Min? Have you noticed how she always names one quality, one thing worth knowing about you?"

Ingrid — at my wedding, Paris

A friend said that in a speech at my wedding. It was the first time I understood it was a thing I do.

Here is what it actually is. Most people are carrying something they can't quite see in themselves — or they can see it perfectly well, and there is no way to say it about yourself without sounding ridiculous. I tend to spot it early, and I have never been able to leave it unsaid.

Not out of generosity. Knowing something that good about someone and keeping it to myself feels like a waste.

The thing that makes you you. That is what goes next to your name here.

Four shelves

Sorted by what you’d do with them.

01
Meet
People. Coaches, founders, makers. Each with one reason, and an introduction if you want one.
02
Go
Places I would go back to, and places I would put someone I like.
03
Try
A service, a meal, a day worth rearranging a trip around.
04
Use
Things I actually live with. The ones still here after a year.
Why this exists at all

Barbers don’t cut
their own hair.

Most people can't see the thing that makes them good. Or they can see it perfectly well and were raised not to say it, or saying it is simply not in their nature.

I know that from the inside. It has taken me an embarrassing number of coaching sessions to write about myself on this website, and I still can't do it shamelessly. I run a company I believe in completely and I am worse at describing it than at almost anything else I do.

So I'll do it for you. It turns out to be easy from the outside.

How this works

Openly biased.

  • 01

Everyone here is someone I know, or something I use. That isn't a disclaimer, it's the qualification. I'm not reviewing from a distance. I'm telling you about my own life, and knowing people is the whole point of it.

  • 02

Every entry says how I know it. Family, friend, client, customer, hosted, paid. You get to weigh it yourself — and honestly, knowing I have the owner's phone number is more use to you than me pretending I don't.

  • 03

Nobody goes up without saying yes. People first, always. And anything can come down quietly, with no explanation owed in either direction.

★ The part that matters

Are you one
of them?

Or do you know someone, somewhere or something I should meet? Tell me. And if an introduction to anyone already here would open a door faster than a cold email, ask me for one.

Drop me a note→

Coaching, advisory, the projects I take on — underneath, they are all the same job. Look at what someone already has inside, believe it, and get it out where the world can find it. If you need that, or you need the connection that goes with it, say so.

Mostly, though, I hope you find each other without me.
